Alabama LCSW and LCSW-PIP Licensure

In Alabama the two clinical licenses are the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the Licensed Clinical Social Worker Private Independent Practice (LCSW-PIP).  In order to become an LCSW-PIP you must first become an LCSW and this information is listed in the table below.

Alabama LBSW and LGSW Licensure

In Alabama the MSW and BSW social work licenses are the Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) and the Licensed Bachelors Social Worker (LBSW). Upon graduation the corresponding license can be applied for through the Alabama Social Work Board.
