I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience in direct practice, supervision and administration.My area of specialization is social work in hospice and palliative care. I have had doctoral level training in clinical social work  and have completed post-masters education in social work in end of life care.I have expertise in cultural aspects of end of life care and in addressing suicidal ideation in the context of end of life care.  My supervisory style is to determine what the supervisee’s needs and goals are and to utilize modalities that will further these goals. This includes integrating models of clinical practice which include psychodynamic theory, solution-focused brief therapy interventions, narrative therapy and others. I include attention to the experience of the social worker in working in end of life, and the importance of self-care.
