First and foremost, I am a mother of 2 young children and so I understand the stress of working outside the home while providing the necessary structure in the home environment. This challenge has given me insight into those I work with by understanding the challenges they may be facing. Through this I am able to offer flexibility in scheduling supervision hours.
I have over 10 years experience in the field, primarily with behavior intervention for individuals with intellectual disabilities. I am embarking on a new chapter of my life where I am providing clinical services for individuals struggling with substance abuse and/or mental illness. As a clinical supervisor I like to provide a comfortable setting where individuals are free to express themselves and yet still engage in clinical learning. I like to stretch those who I supervise to greater depths in order for them to exceed their expectations.
