I have been a social worker for about 8 years now. I have worked in mainly medical fields, such as hospices and hospitals, but I have experience with community centers, counseling, homelessness, and training. I have tried to make myself as well rounded as possible so that I can be the best clinical supervisor I can be to anyone who wishes to work with me.
I have always known that I want to clinically supervise, since I first learned what social work is. I love the feeling of helping others grow and connecting with others in the social work profession. I am happy to do individual or group supervisions. So I’m happy to work with people going through the process together as well!
I currently prefer to work with people online, but if in person is needed within the front range, I’m happy to schedule those in person visits.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have various experience! My goal has always been to supervise others, so I tried to make sure I had as much of a chance to grow in many areas. My main specialties have been mental health and medical social work, to include community centers, hospitals, hospices, and the VA
What kind of supervisor are you?
I'm adaptable! I have been the main sounding board and trainer for every job I have had. I enjoy translating topics into digestible parts for each person. I've been called patient and understanding. I bring the same to all of my supervision sessions
What topics do you cover in supervisions?
Like many supervisors, I love when supervisees bring their own cases and questions. I love to find answers together as well. When cases and questions are not the topic of the day, I also have some prepared ASWB test topics and questions to review. Get my supervisees ready for success with the exam as well. I've helped many of my coworkers with studying, to great success.
