Hey y’all! 

I’m Amanda, owner of Calm Seas Group. In addition to individual, couples, and group therapy, I offer clinical supervision. I offer both individual and group supervision. Helping professionals who work with me have a varied background: school social work, community mental health, hospital social work, veterans and active duty military, child welfare, private practice, non-profits, and more.

I am passionate about providing a safe and welcoming space for clinicians to navigate all of the ups and downs of practice, including how to call in a referral to CPS, what is a mandated reported, how to break through with tough clients, taking clear and concise notes, working with colleagues, starting a private practice, changing paths, et cetera. 

I have worked in child welfare, with a transitional housing population, as a social worker for a guardian ad litem, in private practice as an individual and couples therapist, with a dual diagnosis program as a group therapy facilitator, and I have traveled extensively (21 countries and counting) gaining cultural humility and the ability to engage with cultures aside from my own.

I offer the following rates:
1 hour, individual supervision at $75. 
2 hours, group supervision at $75. I currently offer group sessions on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 11am-1pm MST.
