Hello and welcome to my page! I provide Supervision in an office base setting (evenings or Sundays) or electronically when needed. I’m a relationship based person whether it be working with my Clients or Supervisees and I believe that Supervision is a collaborative process. I have been trained extensively in clinical supervision and reflective supervision; and have also taught other supervisors the use of the different supervision styles available to them to make the best out of supervision. I have experience working with the following populations: early childhood, adolescents, adults, couples, families, home based, community mental health, medical social work, and juvenile corrections.
I always like to begin the supervisor/ supervisee relationship by developing a plan: goals, desired outcomes, needs, and wants of the supervision. I’m a big proponent of self care and decreasing the likelihood of burn out, with this being said I value the time put aside to provide supervision. The research has shown the better the supervision and relationship between supervisor/ supervisee the less likely the supervisee will burn out in the field and it’s a parallel process with improved relationships with Clients.
