Carl Nelke MA, LCSW, LLC

I am a Clinical Social Worker with an additional Masters Degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology, both degrees from Columbia University.  I’m in the field for over 19 years now, having been trained in various modalities including cognitive behavioral, object relational, addictions, psychodrama, LGBT, and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.  My approach to supervision is an eclectic one, as is my training.  I like to borrow from many schools of thought and am not a believer in a one dimensional approach to being a therapist.  I specialize in addictions and I also help people with chronic illness, for the most part Chronic Lyme Disease and HIV/AIDS.
