Approach

I find a student driven base of supervision to be most effective.  I work with examination of the student’s current case load and desired career direction.  Familiarity with the DSM 5 and confidence with diagnosis and management of care plans are essential.  I emphasize appreciation of interdisciplinary teams and accurate case presentation to maximize benefits.  I specialize in a number of areas.  Abuse (verbal, physical and sexual), eating
disorders, anxiety, depression, and criminal behavior.  I have worked in the Mental Health field with
adolescents and adults.

About Me

I was born in New York City and brought up in the Atlantic
City area of New Jersey.  Washington D.C. was my home
for my Bachelor’s degree and Victoria, Australia for my Master’s in Social Work.  I spent 7 years in Costa Rica running a small ocean front resort, just for a change!  love
travel, theater, water activities and reading.
I have been in Hawaii for 6 years now and love it!
