To become a social work supervisor in most states is a simple easy process. Here are the requirements to supervise in your state.
Social work supervisor qualification requirements in Virginia:
1) Hold a valid Virginia LCSW.
2) Must have a minimum of three years post LCSW experience.
3) Complete 3 credit-hour graduate course in supervision or at least 14 hours of continuing education offered by a provider approved under regulation 18vac140-20-105.
4) Maintain good standing with the Virginia Social Work Board.
