My name is LaTisha Thomas and I am a LCSW and board approved supervisor in the state of Texas. I have more than 10 years experience at the Dallas VA Medical Center where my expertise has been in clinical work with the Veteran population with both medical and mental health needs. I have a passion for bridging the gap to identify the clinical role of the social worker across various work settings. We will work to identify your strengths, professional goals, self awareness and areas for growth. I am able to customize the supervision sessions to varied learning styles. I incorporate didactic teaching of modalities, DSM-V application, book review, clinical case consultation, study prep and much more.

I am skilled and have received training in the following: Strengths and Solution Focused Therapies, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Family and Marital Counseling, Grief/Bereavement Interventions, Assessment and Diagnosis, Mindfulness and Psychosocial Case Management Services.
